Artworks and Items
What is "Limited edition"?
This refers to the production and limited sale of a limited number of reproductions of artworks.
Only a certain number of copies will be sold, and once a predetermined number has been produced, no further copies will be made.
Limited edition reproductions are numbered (1/100, 2/100, etc.) and signed by the artist Maó.
What is "framed"?
Refers to works of art that are framed for preservation and aesthetic purposes. Depending on the artwork, you may choose a frame. If you select framed, the work will be delivered framed.
How can I find out the authenticity?
Each piece comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) signed by the artist Maó, the title of the piece, and the date of purchase, and the edition itself is signed and numbered.
What about copyright?
Copyright, intellectual property rights, adaptation rights, and integrity rights are not transferred when you purchase an artwork or product. Also, it may not be copied or modified without permission.
How can I use the artwork?
Can be displayed in your own residence, office, or store. You can also post on SNS such as Instagram, Threads, X, Facebook, and blog.
Is it possible to resell purchased works?
To protect the artists, resale is prohibited for one year starting from the date of order.
Orders
I did not receive an order completion email.
After receiving your order, there is a possibility that we are unable to deliver the email due to an error in the registered email address, domain-specific reception, spam filter settings, etc.
Customers who have registered an account can check their order history by logging in.
If you have set domain-specific reception, please set it so that you can receive "info@maoarth.com".
If you have not heard anything from your order within a few days and are unsure of the status of your order, or if you discover that you entered an incorrect email address when placing your order, please contact us via Contact .
I would like to cancel or change my order after placing it.
Orders cannot be canceled or changed after the order is placed due to customer convenience.
Is there a warranty if the purchased work or product is damaged?
There is no guarantee for artwork or products once they arrive.
The contents were damaged upon arrival, what should I do?
If there is no damage or dirt on the packaging when the product arrives
If you find any defects in the product when you open it, please contact us at info@maoarth.com within 8 days of receiving the product, attaching a photo of the damaged item. We will promptly exchange the product if there is one available, or return it and refund if there is none.
If the packaging is damaged or dirty when the product arrives
If you find any damage or stains on the outside of the packaging when you receive the product, we would appreciate you taking photos of the packaging before opening it, and of the damaged contents after opening it.
We cannot be responsible for any damage or stains that occur during delivery, so please contact the delivery company listed in the shipping email.
*Please do not discard the packaging box (cardboard) or packaging materials, but be sure to keep them.
*Please note that we cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs during delivery of the product.
Can I provide gift wrapping?
We do not provide gift wrapping or gift tags.
Payments
What kind of payment is Shop Pay?
This is a payment service provided by the online shopping system "Shopify".
If you register your email address and mobile phone number with Shop Pay, the next time you make a purchase, you can simply enter the 6-digit Shop Pay code (SMS authentication) sent to your email address and mobile phone number, and you can enter your shipping address and credit card information. You can easily make payments without having to enter them again.
Can I purchase without registering as a member?
You can purchase even if you are not registered as a member.
What payment methods do you accept?
You can use credit cards (Visa / Master / American Express / JCB), Shop Pay, Google Pay, and Paypal.
Shipping
How long does it take for your order to be shipped?
Artwork (including giclee prints): 2-3 weeks after order confirmation. Framed: 4-5 weeks after order confirmation.
iPhone case: Approximately 4 weeks after order confirmation
The number of days it takes to ship varies depending on the product. Please check the "About Order" section on the product details page.
How long will it take for the product to arrive?
It depends on where you live. Domestic delivery takes approximately 1 to 7 business days from shipment to arrival, and international delivery takes approximately 7 to 21 days. You will receive delivery details in your confirmation email.
How much is the shipping cost?
It depends on the product, quantity, and delivery address. After adding the product to your cart, you can calculate the shipping cost from the "Shipping Cost Estimate" on the shopping cart page.
What kind of packaging will it be shipped in?
Your artwork will be shipped in secure packaging. If you order multiple pieces of the same artwork or product, they will be shipped in the same box. For international shipments, shipping labels and customs documents are affixed to the outside of the box.
I entered the wrong delivery address. What should I do?
Delivery address can only be changed before shipping. Please contact us as soon as possible. If you wish to make any changes after shipping, please contact the delivery company directly via the email sent after shipping. In the case of redelivery, the shipping charges for redelivery will be borne by the customer.
Which shipping company will you use? Can I specify the delivery date and time?
Domestic shipping: Sagawa Express, Yamato Transport, Japan Post
Overseas shipping: Japan Post EMS, DHL
Shipping costs may vary depending on the order, and delivery companies cannot be specified. We will inform you of the shipping company in the email when the product is shipped.
Please note that we cannot accept requests for specific delivery dates and times.
Can you arrange it?
It is prohibited to specify the placement of artworks.
You may not receive the Work in a manner that allows anyone other than you to freely access the Work or expose it to the elements.
If it is not possible to receive the work in person, it is possible to receive it in a delivery box or other method that does not allow anyone other than the customer to freely touch it and does not expose it to the elements.
Do you ship overseas?
Currently only available in the United States. Shipping charges will be added at checkout.
For international shipments, additional charges and duties may apply. Please note that due to government taxes (such as customs duties, foreign taxes, and other fees), additional fees and duties cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

To which countries can I ship overseas?
Currently, shipping to the United States is possible.
We may be able to accommodate you in countries other than those listed above, so please contact us at info@maoarth.com if you are interested.
Are there any customs duties?
We are unable to answer whether or not customs duties will be incurred as this is determined by the customs authorities of each country or region.
How much is the customs duty?
We are unable to provide answers regarding the amount of customs duties, etc., as this will be determined by the customs clearance of each country/region.
Depending on the destination country, goods and services tax (GST) or value-added tax (VAT) may be levied on the package being shipped. For details, please contact the customs office of the destination country/region.
If there is a delay in customs clearance, storage fees may be charged.
Additionally, if your package is redirected due to a change of address, etc., a handling fee may be incurred and additional charges may apply.
What happens if I don't pay customs duties and taxes?
The shipment will be determined to be undeliverable and will be destroyed in the country of delivery or returned to us.
In this case, we cannot refund the amount charged at the time of your order. Please note that you will be charged for any customs duties, etc. charged after the package is returned.
Where does it ship from?
All works and products are shipped from Japan.
